The Royal Geographical Society of South Australia warmly welcomes Dr Philip Jones to present our July lunch time talk.
Dr Jones is a curator at the South Australian Museum where he has produced books and exhibitions dealing with the Aboriginal - European frontier and material culture. He will be taking a close look at Angas’s ethno-graphic work, focusing on his writing and images from the Adelaide area, the Murray and Lakes, the Coorong, South-East and Port Lincoln.

Please note that this lecture will be held in the Hetzel Theatre, Institute Building, corner of North Terrace and Kintore Avenue (adjacent to SLSA).
This event is free for members of the RGSSA (although we do appreciate a gold coin donation). Non-members are welcome to attend and tickets are available for $10 per person. Book on line through this site. The RGSSA welcomes new members who wish to make a contribution to the success of the society.
