Roger will present the story of his discovery - a fascinating collection of Kodachrome photographs - taken by his uncle on and around the family farm, north of Goyder's line, in the early 1940s.
He will also discuss the contents of the collection, as well as his surprising additional discovery that these appear to be the earliest documented Kodachrome photographs taken in Australia, and among the earliest worldwide.
Having three degrees in the field of Asian Studies, Roger is a researcher and writer. This latest research project is the subject of his third book. He grew up in South Australia and after 35 years in Canberra, returned to live here in 2002.
