The Membership Task Force was endorsed by Council in December 2022 to operate for a period of 2 years with the intention of improving the experience of members and growing the membership base.
The Membership Task Force has the following specific objectives:
identifying the benefits of Society membership and ensuring they are made known to existing and prospective individual and corporate members;
developing and implementing membership growth strategies, paying particular attention to ways of attracting participation by an increasingly diverse population cohort;
identifying and implementing strategies to retain members;
reviewing and recommending improvements to member experiences and
devising an online volunteer system to facilitate the attraction of volunteers to the conduct of Society activities.
