Monuments and Memorials

The Society is actively involved in the establishment of monuments and memorials in memory of the explorers and geographers of South Australia

Mrs Margaret Goyder Kerr, Grand-daughter of G.W. Goyder, helped Society members unveil the plaque commemorating Goyder’s Line near Kyancutta in 1983.

Erected at Warrina in 1985 to commemorate the departure of the expedition in 1891.

The memorial lookout is located at the top of Mount Brown.
