Since 1947 the Lewis family have been the main benefactors of the tax deductible Fund that provides many of the awards.
One of the Society's Patrons, Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia presented the 2021 awards to secondary and tertiary students in May 2022 in a ceremony held in the Mortlock Wing of the State Library of SA. Unfortunately our other Patron, Mr Rod Bunten was unable to attend.
