The Society's Annual Dinner is a not-to-be-missed occasion at which Keith Conlon, 'Mr South Australia', and our President, Leigh Radford, will reprise their Royal Show performance about '100 years of the Show at Wayville'.
Our after diner speakers will be the very knowledgeable and entertaining duo of Keith Conlon OAM and Leigh Radford OAM. Keith Conlon is one of South Australia's most well known characters. He is a media icon, a historian, a heritage advocate, a cyclist, and a community champion. He has spent decades shining a light on Adelaide’s stories, places and spaces. Leigh is a qualified geographer with a professional career spanning more than 30 years at the ABC starting as a rural journalist and spending many years broadcasting the Country Hour before heading ABC Rural nationally. Leigh will be know to most of you as our President, a position he has held since April 2018. Keith and Leigh promise a healthy serving of Christmas cheer in RGSSA's 140th year!
After dinner Margie Dawson, our invaluable GeoNews editor, will host the annual quiz mostly relating to Society events during 2025.
