Annual Dinner 2026

The Society's Annual Dinner is a not-to-be-missed occasion which should be both enteratining and informative, not to mention delicious!

Following last year's successful double act of Keith Conlon and Leigh Radford, our joint MCs - Malcolm McInerney and Rob Shepherd - promise to keep the evening's program light and lively Our after dinner speaker will be Ed McAllister AO who is very well known as a long-term Friend of the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide and the Royal Zoological Society of SA.  He was made an Officer of the Order of Australia in 2003 for services to conservation. 

After dinner Rob Shepherd and Melissa Gibbs will host the annual quiz mostly relating to Society events during 2026.

The cost will include a 3 course dinner followed by tea and coffee. The booking form allows attendees to choose their main course and to advise of any special dietary requirements.  The canapes will be Chef's selection and dessert will be Apple Pies (classic apple and sultana filling served with cream and ice cream).  The main will be a choice of Chicken Mignon (wrapped in bacon and served with a mushroom sauce) or Crispy Atlantic Salmon (served with greens and roast potato)  A vegetarian option will also be available.

 Apart from tea and coffee at the end of the meal, all drinks are to be purchased by guests.
