Geographical Symposium for Tertiary Students - POSTPONED to 2024

In 2024, the Royal Geographical Society of South Australia will host an inaugural Symposium for Tertiary students from The University of Adelaide, The Flinders University of South Australia and the University of South Australia to showcase their current or recent research at Honours, Masters, or PhD level in the fields of Geography, Environmental Studies or allied fields.

The purpose of the symposium is to foster closer relations between the students at the respective universities and to provide a forum for students to gain an appreciation of the range of current Geographical Research being undertaken in Adelaide. There will be an opportunity for informal networking at the conclusion of the presentations over light refreshments.

Research students are cordially invited to apply to present a short verbal presentation (e.g. 10 minutes) and an A3 poster for display of your research findings/thesis via email to:

Associate Professor Jodie George, BPsych (Hons), PhD

Associate Dean: UniSA Online

University of South Australia, Level 4 Catherine Helen Spence building, City West campus
