Library Management Committee

The Library Management Committee maintains and manages the Society's internationally significant library to the highest standard that resources allow providing a carefully managed information and lending service.

Within the overall framework of the Society’s goals and objectives the Library will;

Be managed to provide an information, research and lending service to the Society’s membership and the wider community.
Make its resources accessible to users worldwide via the internet.
Conserve the collection for future generations.
Promote its assets through a range of measures, including exhibitions, guided tours and publications.
