Events organised by the Program Committee include;
- A series of ten (10) monthly lectures each year given by invited speakers
- A number of short field trips and longer excursions during the year
- Tea and Tour Orientation sessions for new RGSSA members
- The Society´s Annual Christmas Dinner
- Participation in the annual International GeoNight event
