The RGSSA warmly congratulates Professor Emeritus Guy Robinson on receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Rural Geography Research Group of the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) at the recent RGS-IBG Annual Conference in London. This award recognises Professor Robinson’s outstanding and sustained contribution to rural geography over many decades. A member of the Rural Geography Research Group for 53 years, he has served the Group in several leadership roles. Professor Robinson’s achievement reflects both his scholarly distinction and his enduring commitment to geographical research communities, collaboration, mentorship and friendship, evident through his work with RGSSA and the RGS-IBG.
